Refund Policy

Refund Policy

Last updated: 2026-08-24

In accordance with the Insurance Act of Singapore (Chapter 142), we hold client and insurer money in a separate account with our Singapore-licensed bank. Refund decisions aren't ours to make — they're made by the insurer that issued your policy.

  1. How refunds work

Insurers may refund policyholders under certain conditions, and some choose to offset a refund against premiums you still owe rather than paying it out directly.

  2. When a refund is possible

Premiums for the unused portion of your policy term can only be refunded when all of the following apply:

    • Your premiums are current
    • We've received your cancellation request in writing
    • The insurer that issued your policy agrees to provide a refund
  3. Requesting a refund

We're happy to help with your refund request — contact us at enquiriesonline@insurancemarket.sg or +65 8883 9901. Please allow up to 45 days for the insurer to process a refund once it's approved.
